The air is precisely heated and evenly distributed along hair sections during styling, without the need for extreme heat.¹ The airflow is directed downwards at a 45° angle to create the necessary tension to align hair and achieve a smooth style, reducing damage and breakage.² ¹When used on wet hair.² When used on wet hair, compared to flat irons with hot plates that use extreme heat. INTELLIGENT HEAT CONTROL The glass-encapsulated thermistors located in the machine’s arms regulate the air flow temperature up to 16 times per second to prevent damage from extreme heat and protect the natural shine of hair. DYSON HYPERDYMIUM™ MOTOR The 13-blade motor spins at speeds of up to 106,000 RPM, pushing 11.9 liters of air per second into the machine. It generates a pressure of 3.6 kPa, sufficient to straighten hair during drying. AUTOMATIC PAUSE After three seconds of inactivity, the machine automatically pauses, saving energy between uses. To reactivate the airflow, simply move the product. STYLING FROM WET HAIR Smooth and dry hair simultaneously. Three temperatures (80°C, 110°C, and 140°C) to create the final style starting from wet hair, with a single tool. STYLING FROM DRY HAIR Touch up styling from dry hair. Styling at 120°C or 140°C or with optional Boost mode for maximum effectiveness. INTUITIVE AIRFLOW Dyson Airstrait™ detects the presence of hair within the arms and automatically reduces airflow when there is none, for quieter styling and more efficient energy consumption. LCD SCREEN The high-definition color screen displays airflow and temperature settings for easier styling. LOCK FUNCTION Slide the button to lock and unlock the machine’s arms.
