AeroChamber Plus CHILDREN’S MASK

The device with children’s or infant’s mask should be used with nebulizers for children aged 12 months to 5 years and infants up to 18 months of age.

Usage Instructions:
Before use, ensure that the AeroChamber Plus* inhalation chamber with valve (“VHC”) has been cleaned according to the instructions and that the information provided with the nebulizer has been read.
– remove the protective cap from the nebulizer mouthpiece;
– examine the AeroChamber Plus* VHC to ensure that nothing is inside;
– insert the nebulizer mouthpiece into the connector towards the nebulizer located on the back of the AeroChamber Plus* VHC;
– hold the AeroChamber Plus* VHC firmly with the nebulizer and shake vigorously 4 or 5 times. Ensure that the nebulizer mouthpiece inside the AeroChamber Plus* VHC is oriented directly towards the mask;
– gently apply the mask to the face so that it fits well around the nose and mouth;
– press the nebulizer once while beginning to inhale slowly. Hold the mask firmly on the patient’s face for 5-6 breaths. For best results, encourage the patient to breathe through the mouth. The exhaled air escapes from the mask through the exhalation valve;
– wait 30 seconds before repeating the steps 4-6 as prescribed.

Cleaning Instructions:
Clean the AeroChamber Plus* VHC only as indicated in the instructions before using it for the first time and then weekly.
1- only remove the connector towards the nebulizer from the back of the device (do not remove the mask);
2- immerse both parts in warm water containing mild liquid detergent for 15 minutes. Gently agitate;
3- shake the device to remove excess water. Do not rub to dry;
4- allow to air dry in an upright position;
5- reinsert the connector towards the nebulizer when the device is completely dry.

Warnings:
Do not compress all puffs in the AeroChamber Plus* VHC at once to inhale them.
Inhale one puff at a time.
Do not leave the AeroChamber Plus* VHC unattended in the hands of children.
Only disassemble AeroChamber Plus* VHC as indicated in the cleaning instructions to avoid damaging the device.

Do not put in the dishwasher.
This device does not contain latex.
Do not share the use of your child’s AeroChamber Plus* VHC with anyone else. It should be used exclusively by your child. When the device is in use, adult supervision is always necessary.

Storage:
Store AeroChamber Plus* VHC in a clean, dry place. The device should be replaced after 12 months of continuous use. Environmental conditions, storage methods, and frequency of use may affect the lifespan of the device.
