Description
Temporary fixer for bridges, crowns, post teeth, and caps made from any type of material, on prepared teeth and implants. For simplicity, the term capsule is used in the instructions to refer to all elements for which Pontefix is necessary. The original Pontefix formula has made it possible to use zinc phosphate for temporary fixings.

Usage Instructions
Carefully remove any residues of material inside the capsule using a sharp object. Then complete the cleaning with cotton soaked in alcohol.
Place the cotton roll between the gum and the cheek, near the tooth or implant where the fixing is to be done.
Check the correct orientation of the capsule to place it directly on the tooth.
Open the jar of powder and add all the liquid contained in the single-dose vial.
Mix with the spatula until a homogeneous compound is obtained (about 20/30 seconds).
Caution: the compound hardens in about 2 minutes; therefore, it is necessary to proceed quickly.
To use the product in high-temperature conditions (above 28 °C-30 °C), it is advisable to mix the components in a cool and shaded place as it may harden more quickly.
Using the spatula, fill the capsule halfway with the compound. (In the case of detachment of a post (Richmond crown), the compound should be applied directly to the post.
Insert the capsule onto the tooth in the correct position.
Remove the cotton roll previously placed between the cheek and the gum and place it over the fixed capsule.
Bite down for about five minutes.
After fixing, remove any excess compound that has leaked from the capsule.

Warnings
Despite its excellent resistance, Pontefix does not eliminate the causes that led to the detachment of the prosthesis. If the problem persists, it is advisable to consult your dentist.
The compound contained is sufficient to fix one to four capsules simultaneously.

Store in a cool, dry place.
