based on citric acid and sodium bicarbonate, capable of developing carbon dioxide, with the two microorganisms L. fermentum LF10 and L. Acidophilus LA 02,
fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and arabinogalactan.

Useful for both the treatment and prevention of candida vulvovaginitis and related symptoms, in cases of acute episodes (VVC) and recurrent forms (VVCR).
The formulation, thanks to the presence of citric acid and sodium bicarbonate and its peculiar formulation in slowly disintegrating vaginal tablets, is able to create a temporary physical barrier to oxygen within the vaginal lumen following the development of carbon dioxide (CO2).
This creates an almost anaerobic environment due to the physical exclusion of oxygen molecules.
This characteristic is able to counteract the establishment, persistence, or propagation of a vaginal candida infection.
Thus, a barrier effect is established against yeast of the genus candida, responsible for most vulvovaginitis in women.
Additionally, the presence of the two microorganisms Lactobacillus fermentum LF 10 and Lactobacillus acidophilus LA 02 enhances the physical barrier action mentioned above through a mechanism that complements that of citric acid and sodium bicarbonate.
Finally, the slight effervescence helps distribute the lactobacilli throughout the vaginal lumen.
Contains an appropriate amount of fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and arabinogalactan, capable of accelerating the onset of the positive effects attributable to the two lactobacilli in the formulation.

Components
One tablet contains:
– Citric acid.
– Sodium bicarbonate.
– Lactobacillus fermentum LF 10 (DSM 19187): not less than 400 million live lactobacilli.
– Lactobacillus acidophilus LA 02 (DSM 21717): not less than 400 million live lactobacilli.
– Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS): 332 mg.
– Arabinogalactan: 273 mg.
Excipients:
– Microcrystalline cellulose.
– Anhydrous calcium hydrogen phosphate.
– Glyceryl behenate.
– Sucrose palmitate.
– Silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent).
– Magnesium stearate.
