Dr.Brux BLUE BITE

Bite to prevent damage from bruxism, the involuntary act of clenching and grinding teeth.
Bruxism is a parafunction and is considered one of the main dental diseases; it is caused by stress, nervous tension, and hyperactivity.
Bruxism can cause serious damage to the dental apparatus.
The most visible damage is the progressive wear of teeth with possible fractures, compromising the gum tissues, but especially those who suffer from it may experience serious problems such as:
– dental hypersensitivity to cold and heat;
– dizziness and headaches;
– chronic pain in the jaw joint;
– cervical pain.

Instructions for use:
1. Hold the adaptation device “VDC System” with the inclination downwards and insert it into the Bite starting from one of the two side holes. Once the first pin is inserted, vigorously widen the arch to allow the three pins to penetrate into the three front slots. Finish by inserting the last side pin.
2. Before proceeding with customization, try inserting the Bite into your mouth to familiarize yourself with the subsequent maneuvers.
3. Holding the “VDC System” device, completely immerse the Bite in boiling water for 6 seconds.
4. Remove from the water and shake vigorously to eliminate residual water.
5. Insert the Bite into your mouth, closing your teeth without clenching too hard. With your lips tightly closed, suck all the air for a few seconds to facilitate the adhesion of the Bite to the surfaces of the teeth.
6. After about a minute, remove the Bite from your mouth and immerse it under a cold water jet for at least 2 minutes. At this point, remove the customization device and your Bite is ready to be used.

Features:
The bite is a mouthguard, similar to those worn by boxers, which is primarily worn at night, capable of creating a protective barrier between the two dental arches.

Warnings:
In case of joint, dental, or gum dysfunctions, or in the presence of removable prostheses or orthodontic appliances, it is advisable to have a specialist visit before using Dr. Brux®.
