Skin gel for topical use. Gel dressing with Hyaluronic Acid and Silver Sulfadiazine.
Indicated for the local treatment of skin lesions such as abrasions, scrapes, cuts, wounds, burns, injuries, skin irritations, and dermatological conditions in general. It can be used to promote the healing process of the wound, protecting it from the risk of infections. The presence of the gel also facilitates the removal of non-viable fragments and accumulations of fibrin and eschar.
Hyaluronic Acid, due to its peculiar hygroscopic power, contributes to maintaining a favorable microenvironment for restoring the biological properties of the skin, such as elasticity and hydration, in the presence of skin damage.

How to use
After properly cleansing the lesion, apply a uniform layer of SOFARGEN Repair 2 to 3 mm thick on the affected surfaces. The gel can be applied directly to the lesions or previously spread on a sterile gauze to achieve a moisturizing effect or on a polyurethane or semi-occlusive dressing as a cleanser. In this case, it can be left in place for 24 to 72 hours. SOFARGEN Repair is also a valid substitute for the most commonly used hydrogels.
The application of the gel should continue uninterrupted once or twice a day, as long as there is a possibility of infection and until complete healing, both in spontaneous and surgical repairs. With each renewal of the application, carefully cleanse the lesions with water or saline solution.
Components
Purified Water, Glycerol, Carbopol 974P, Sodium Hydroxide, Micronized Silver Sulfadiazine, and Sodium Hyaluronate.
Warnings
Patients with confirmed individual hypersensitivity to the components should not use SOFARGEN Repair. It is advised not to use the product for more than 4 weeks. Consult a doctor in case of incomplete healing or if unwanted symptoms arise. In case of accidental ingestion, consult a doctor.
The gel may tend to turn brown if exposed to light due to the silver ion present in the formulation. However, this phenomenon does not compromise its effectiveness and safety. Do not apply the product together with liquid or solid disinfectants. Close the tube after each application. In pregnant women and infants, use the product after consulting a doctor. SOFARGEN Repair should be used only for the treatment of small lesions. The product is not for ophthalmic use. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
Transient sensations of burning or irritation may occur, but without consequences, and rare local allergic reactions. If unwanted effects arise, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Storage
Store at a temperature below 30°C.
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 36 months.
Shelf life after first opening: 12 months.
