Symptomatic treatment of constipation. Promotes peristalsis, helping to achieve adequate bowel evacuation, thus combating constipation and preventing the formation of fecal impaction.
Macrogol is an inert, water-soluble polymer of high molecular weight that has the ability to bind to the water used for intake, retaining it in the stool. It causes rehydration and softening of the stool mass and facilitates evacuation. It accelerates intestinal transit by promoting peristalsis. It is not absorbed or metabolized in the gastrointestinal tract and does not lead to hydro-electrolytic imbalances when taken with the indicated amount of liquid.

Usage instructions
Use the measuring scoop contained in the package to dose the powder: fill it level and not pressed, then remove the excess product with the edge of a knife.

– Adults and children over 12 years: from 2 to 10 level scoops per day. The dose should be increased or decreased depending on the individual response to treatment, to allow for regular evacuation of soft stools. The maximum necessary dose does not normally exceed 10 level scoops per day. Dissolve the powder in water or another liquid (50 ml for each scoop) and take immediately. It is recommended to administer the product in the morning if taking the minimum dose (2 scoops per day). For higher doses, divide the intake between morning and evening. If no improvement is noticed after 7 days of treatment, consult a doctor.

– Children aged between 6 months and 12 years: the dose should be increased or decreased depending on the individual response to treatment, to allow for regular evacuation of soft stools. The maximum necessary dose does not normally exceed 4 level scoops per day. Dissolve the powder in water or another liquid (50ml for each scoop) and take immediately. It is recommended to administer the product in the morning if taking 1 scoop per day. For higher doses, divide the intake between morning and evening. If no improvement is noticed after 7 days of treatment, it is advisable to consult a doctor.

Warnings
Administration in children should be carried out under the direct supervision of an adult. It is advisable to use the product in pediatric age after consulting a doctor.
Do not use if the package is open or damaged.
Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The product may reduce the time spent in the intestine and therefore the absorption of orally administered medications. It is advisable to consult a doctor in case of simultaneous intake of oral medications, which should in any case be administered at least 2 hours apart.
In case of undesirable reactions, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not take in case of:
– known hypersensitivity to one or more components;
– perforation, obstruction, or intestinal stenosis;
– paralytic ileus;
– severe inflammatory bowel diseases (e.g., ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, toxic megacolon).
The use of laxatives is contraindicated in the presence of acute or unknown origin abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, rectal bleeding of unknown origin, and in cases of severe dehydration.
Some gastrointestinal disturbances (abdominal pain, flatulence, abdominal bloating, nausea, and fecal incontinence) may occur.
Diarrhea is a side effect of taking excessive doses of Sanipeg and is avoidable by reducing the intake dose.
Rare cases of hypersensitivity reactions (skin rash) have been reported following the use of products containing macrogol. In such cases, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat sources. Close the container tightly after use.
The expiration date refers to the product properly stored.
