Description
Class IIa medical device. Clin 4000 acts naturally; it is not absorbed or fermented in the intestine, does not irritate the mucosa, and is eliminated in the feces in unchanged form. Laxative powder for oral solution based on Macrogol 4000. It is particularly indicated for chronic constipation; it is also indicated in cases of occasionally irregular bowel. Thanks to its affinity for water, it softens stools, facilitating evacuation. This way, it promotes a sense of well-being and relief. It does not cause cramps, abdominal pain, or urgency. Its effectiveness does not diminish over time.
It contains no excipients or flavorings.
Sugar-free.

Directions for use
Dissolve the powder by mixing it in any beverage. The contents of one sachet (10 g) should be dissolved in at least 125 ml (increase to 150 ml in pediatric age) of any beverage, even hot, such as tea, herbal teas, milk, broth, or fruit juice. The product does not alter the taste of the beverage. Drink the reconstituted solution. It is recommended to take it away from meals.
Due to its safety characteristics, it allows for a wide dosage flexibility.
Adults and children weighing over 20 kg: 10 g (1 sachet), 1-3 times a day, according to individual response. To achieve a quicker effect, the maximum daily dose (30 g) can be taken in a single administration. In case of prolonged use, the dose can be reduced to 10 g (1 sachet) 1-2 times a day, even on alternate days, preferably in the evening.
Children up to 20 kg: the dosage should be adjusted to body weight. Therefore, it is advisable to use the 200 g bottle of powder with a measuring spoon that allows customizing the dose according to the child’s actual needs until soft stools are achieved. Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage of 30 g.

Warnings
Do not take in case of: known hypersensitivity to macrogol; perforation and/or gastrointestinal obstruction.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the product should be used under medical prescription.
No interactions with drugs are known, but it is advisable that the intake of the product is spaced at least 2 hours from that of oral medications.
Occasionally, abdominal distension and/or nausea may occur, which resolve by continuing use. Rare cases of allergic reactions (rash, urticaria): in this case, discontinue use of the product and inform your doctor or pharmacist.
In case of overdose, diarrhea may occur, which resolves spontaneously with the discontinuation of the product.

Storage
Store in the original packaging in a cool and dry place.
The expiration date indicated refers to the product in intact packaging and properly stored.
