Properties
It has a dual beneficial action on the intestine: lactic ferments rebalance the intestinal microflora while the fibers, in addition to promoting intestinal motility, stimulate the growth and activity of the already present bacterial flora in the intestine, reinforcing the balancing action of the lactic ferments.
Bifidobacterium Lactis (BB-12) is a lactic bacterium naturally present in the human intestine with high efficacy in establishing intestinal regularity, documented by several clinical studies.
Short-chain fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are soluble plant fibers that, in addition to having a direct beneficial action on intestinal transit, are known to be completely fermentable by the intestinal bacterial flora, especially capable of increasing the component of bifidobacteria.
