Compeed CORN PLASTERS
Plaster suitable for medium-sized corns, which generally form on the forefoot. Hypoallergenic.
Corns, which are layers of dead and hardened skin cells, are caused by repeated pressure on a specific area, stimulating the production of skin cells. These barriers constitute the body’s protective response to pressure. Generally, corns and calluses are the same, as both are caused by skin hardening in response to pressure or friction. The main difference is that calluses represent deeper and localized skin hardening, while corns tend to cover a larger area of skin and do not penetrate as deeply as calluses. Corns primarily occur on the forefoot and heels and are yellow/dark brown in color.
Compeed corn plasters provide quick pain relief and offer protective action against water, dirt, and germs. The hydrocolloid technology keeps the skin hydrated and provides a soothing action on the corn, creating suitable conditions for healing.
Repeated pressure on the skin causes the epidermis to generate a callus. Often, wounds and lesions can appear on the corn, causing pain and discomfort. Compeed corn plasters provide quick relief from pressure and pain, acting as a cushion for the affected area.
The hydrocolloids in Compeed corn plasters create a soothing environment that softens the skin, keeping it hydrated and thus providing suitable conditions for healing.
Medium size.
Usage Instructions
For best results, soften the callus by soaking your feet in warm water. Remove the hardened skin by gently rubbing with your fingers or a towel. Do not use a file. Dry the skin completely.
Warm Compeed in your hands for a minute before application.
Remove the decorated film, being careful not to touch the adhesive. Remove the white film.
Avoid touching the adhesive part. Apply Compeed directly on the corn.
After applying, warm Compeed for another minute by placing a hand on the product.
Leave Compeed applied until it detaches on its own.
Repeat the treatment, removing the softened skin after each foot soak, until the corn has been gradually removed and the skin appears smooth and soft again. As the skin heals, the plaster loses adhesion on its own. In this way, it acts as a “second skin.” If it is necessary to remove Compeed, gently pull the edge of the plaster, stretching it in a direction parallel to the skin.
Compeed corn plasters should be removed every 48 hours.
