Description
The Brava elastic hydrocolloid bandage is indicated to support and level the edge of the stoma device plate as it provides additional adhesion. It can be used on intact peristomal skin: thanks to its hydrocolloid composition, it provides protective and leveling action. It is available in four different formats: half-moon; rectangular; with reinforcement and XL half-moon. Single-use product, latex-free and phthalate-free.
Half-moon elastic bandage: can be used in normal cases where it is necessary to prevent the plate from curling and detaching when the plate is oval/round.
Rectangular elastic bandage: can be used with the same function in case of rectangular/square plates.
Reinforced elastic bandage: can be used on complex abdomens (very large, in the presence of hernias, etc.) or in cases where a larger adhesive surface is needed to support the plate.
XL half-moon elastic bandage: can be used in cases where a larger adhesive surface is needed to level and prevent the plate from curling and detaching when the plate is oval/round and to increase the user’s sense of security and tolerance in case of misplacement.

Warnings
Reusing this single-use product may pose a potential risk to the user. Treatment, cleansing, disinfection, and sterilization may compromise the product’s characteristics, which in turn would pose an additional risk of physical harm or infection to the patient. Before application, ensure that the products are at room temperature.
The product does not contain ecotoxic components and therefore does not require special disposal protocols. Do not disperse in the environment as it is not biodegradable.

Storage
Avoid direct exposure to sunlight. Store products horizontally in a cool, dry place. Products should not be stored at temperatures below 0.
Validity in unopened packaging: 36 months.
