Description
Sterile product based on liposomes, vitamin A, vitamin E, and amino acids without preservatives.
LACRISEK Plus Spray stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film, regulates and corrects the lubrication of the ocular surface.
Vitamins A and E, known for their soothing and emollient properties, in synergy with liposomes (hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine), provide functional support to the lipid component present on the eyelid margin. Additionally, vitamins A and E as stabilizers of liposomes help improve ocular and periocular symptoms associated with inflammatory conditions of allergic and/or infectious origin.
The amino acids L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride, and L-leucine contained in the product increase the lubrication of the ocular surface and may contribute to improving the protection of epithelia subjected to various stress.
The lipid component of the tear film is essential in containing tear fluid, as well as controlling its evaporation.
The use of LACRISEK Plus Spray supports the functionality of the lipid secretions of the ocular accessory glands (Meibomian, Zeiss, and Moll glands), contributing to the stabilization of the lipid component of the tear film.

How to use
Apply 1-2 sprays of LACRISEK Plus Spray onto the eye, preferably with the eyelids closed. It is recommended to apply LACRISEK Plus Spray 3-4 times a day.
In case of severe discomfort, LACRISEK Plus Spray can be applied more frequently.
In the presence of crusts and adherent secretions, it is advisable to perform adequate ocular and periocular hygiene using sterile disposable medicated gauze before applying 1-2 sprays per eye of LACRISEK Plus Spray.
Spray the product from a distance of 10 cm.

LACRISEK Plus Spray can also be used in the presence of cosmetics: in this case, apply only one spray from a greater distance (about 20 cm). At the first use, perform empty sprays until the first misting.
During spraying, keep the bottle in an upright position.

Ingredients
Retinyl palmitate (vitamin A), alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E), hydrogenated phospholipids, monosodium phosphate, disodium phosphate, sodium chloride, L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride, L-leucine, and purified water.

Warnings
Product for external ophthalmic use only.
To eliminate the risk of contamination of the solution, avoid contact of the nebulizer with the eye or other objects.
To avoid injury to the ocular surface, avoid contact of the nebulizer with the eye during instillation.
Small amounts of the product swallowed will not cause any problems.
In case of concomitant administration of topical ophthalmic medications, consult a doctor.
Do not use the product if the bottle is damaged.
Keep the preparation out of the sight and reach of children.
Contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to the components of the product or other closely related substances from a chemical point of view.
No unwanted effects are known after the administration of the product. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor. After application of the product, a slight and transient visual blurring may occur.

Storage
Store at a temperature between 4°C and 25°C.
Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the single-dose container.
Do not dispose of in the environment.
Validity in intact packaging: 24 months.
