Dilatan Plus ANAL DILATOR

Contains a heat-retaining gel that provides the benefits of thermotherapy or cryotherapy in various anal pathological conditions:
stenosis (narrowing) of the orifice from scar tissue or idiopathic origin;
hypertonia or sphincter spasm due to hemorrhoids, essential proctalgia, fissures, with possible secondary constipation;
prevention of postoperative stenosis after surgery for hemorrhoids and fistula.

How to use:
For cryotherapy, cool the dilator in the refrigerator or immerse it for 10/15 minutes in ice water. For thermotherapy, heat the dilator in hot water (not exceeding 50°C) for about 10/15 minutes.
Then apply the dilator with lubricating creams or ointments. Insert the dilator into the anal orifice slowly until its base while sitting on the bidet or lying on a side, either before or after defecation. In case of sphincter spasm, it is advisable to precede the dilation with a warm bidet that has a relaxing effect on the anal sphincter muscles. The dilator should be kept in place for about one to three minutes and then slowly removed. It is recommended not to stand up or walk with the dilator inserted.
