The POLYBACTUM ^® suppository is a compound that adheres to the vaginal wall to help reduce vaginal infections and protect the vagina from infections (including infections from Gardnerella vaginalis) through a barrier effect.
POLYBACTUM® does not have harmful effects on the natural vaginal flora. In women with bacterial vaginosis, POLYBACTUM® aims to prevent the recurrence of bacterial vaginosis.
Contains Policarbophil (mucoadhesive) and “lauryl glucoside”.

Components
Hydrogenated coco-glycerides, Policarbophil, Lauryl glucoside (0.04%).

Usage Instructions
Each suppository should be inserted deeply into the vagina.
3 suppositories (1 every 3 days) per week. When necessary, wait until the end of the menstrual cycle.
Repeat this treatment for 2 consecutive cycles (3 cycles in total).

Warnings
Product exclusively for vaginal use.
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to one or more substances contained in the product.
In case of unexpected reaction, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
Do not use together with other vaginal treatments.
POLYBACTUM® can be used during pregnancy but must be discontinued after the rupture of membranes.
To avoid any interaction with other medications, it is necessary to inform your doctor or pharmacist of any other ongoing treatment.
Do not use if the package is damaged.
Do not use the product if expired.
During treatment, the use of condoms is permitted.
The use of spermicidal substances and diaphragms is not recommended as the risk of rendering the contraceptive method ineffective cannot be excluded.
Keep out of reach of children.
Keep the blister in its original box along with its leaflet.

Storage
Store in a dry place away from heat sources and protected from light.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 24 months.
