Description
Sterile single-use gauze for periocular hygiene of adults and children.
Indicated for the mechanical removal of residues from eyelids and eyelashes in both adults and children, even in the presence of secretions due to inflammatory and/or infectious phenomena, such as blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis of various natures (also in the presence of skin peeling).
Its use is particularly valid as an adjunct to any pharmacological treatments in inflammatory, allergic conditions or in the pre- and/or post-operative phase of surgical or laser interventions.
Silverix is also recommended for daily treatment of the periocular area to remove residues of cosmetic products from eyelids and eyelashes in subjects predisposed to the onset of blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis of various natures, Meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), rosacea, burning, itching or irritation, redness and swelling, and other conditions at the eyelid margins.
Silverix, due to its peculiar composition, can also be used by contact lens wearers.

Properties
Sodium hyaluronate is a fundamental component of the extracellular matrix of most tissues. Thanks to its ability to retain water and its film-forming power, it exerts a moisturizing and protective activity.
All components of Silverix are also useful for achieving optimal cleansing and emollient activity (chamomile and eyebright) while fully respecting the physiology of the periocular area, which is particularly delicate and sensitive.
The peculiar composition of Silverix is indicated as an adjunct in the treatment of inflammatory and infectious phenomena of various natures in the periocular area, promoting the repair of damaged tissues.

How to use
After thoroughly cleaning your hands, open the sachet and remove the gauze. Apply the gauze to the eyelid area, gently passing it to allow for adequate cleansing, removal of ocular secretions, and any deposits of other types (smog, dust, powders, etc.).
In case of particularly persistent secretions or blockage of the tear duct, it is advisable to warm the closed sachet for a few minutes in warm water (about 40°C) and then use the gauze as a warm compress, gently massaging the area.
In case of inflammation, it is advisable to cool the closed sachet in the refrigerator for a few hours and then apply the opened gauze to the eye, keeping it in place for a few minutes as a cold compress.

Composition
100% cotton gauze, soaked in 2.8 ml of the following solution: colloidal silver, sodium hyaluronate, Chamomilla recutita, Euphrasia officinalis, propylene glycol, phenethyl alcohol, PEG-40 castor oil, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, wheat amino acid, glycyrrhizic ammonium, sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, aroma, polysorbate 20, ethylhexylglycerin, water.

Warnings
Sterility of the product is guaranteed only if the sachet is intact.
In case of infectious states, do not use the same gauze for both eyes.
The gauze is single-use; reuse may be a vehicle for infections.
Keep out of reach of children.
External use only.
Discontinue use in case of evident irritative phenomena or hypersensitivity to the product.
