Herpless Powder Complementary feed for cats. Herpless powder (based on L-Lysine) is indicated as a complement to usual therapies in case of Herpes Virus infection in cats (FHV-1) of any age. It is advisable to use it, in conjunction with specific therapies, as early as possible in kittens affected by clinically manifest Feline Herpes Virus infection. It can also be effectively used, alone or in conjunction with specific therapies, to reduce the severity and frequency of recurrent or relapsing forms.

Ingredients
Maltodextrin; additives per Kg: amino acids, their salts and analogues: L-Lysine hydrochloride g 500; anti-caking agents: Colloidal Silica E551b g 10.
Analytical components: moisture 3.0 %; crude protein 40.0 %; crude oils and fats 1.0 %; crude ash 1.0 %; crude fiber 0.5 %.

Directions for use
Mix Herpless powder with the usual ration of wet food according to the following daily dosage:
– Acute Feline Herpes Virus infection:
Kittens up to 6 months: 1 level scoop (equal to 250 mg of L-Lysine) 2 times a day.
Adult cats: 2 level scoops (equal to 500 mg of L-Lysine) 2 times a day.
– Recurrent or relapsing Feline Herpes Virus forms:
Kittens up to 6 months: 1 level scoop (equal to 250 mg of L-Lysine) 1 time a day.
Adult cats: 2 level scoops (equal to 500 mg of L-Lysine) 1 time a day.
In case of exclusively dry feeding, slightly moisten the food to allow good adherence of the powder and complete intake. It is advisable to carry out a 30-day administration cycle, according to the Veterinarian’s instructions.
