CONNETTINASILVER SPRAY

Spray powder dressing for topical use containing sodium hyaluronate (HA) and metallic silver. Indicated for the topical and temporary treatment of non-infected skin lesions (e.g., abrasions, scrapes, fissures, cuts, small surgical wounds, localized first and second-degree burns) and to create a moist environment protected against further exogenous bacteria.

Ingredients
Sodium hyaluronate 0.2%; metallic silver 2.0%; silicon dioxide; light kaolin; n-butane.

Recommended use
Lesions must be cleaned before application. Shake the container well before use. Holding the container upright, spray a sufficient amount of powder to cover the surface of the wound. Spray at intervals for short periods. After application, it is suggested to cover the treated area with a sterile gauze. Apply once or twice a day, according to clinical evolution.

Contraindications
Patients with known individual sensitivity to the components of the product should not use it.
During pregnancy, it is recommended to use the product under medical supervision.

Precautions
It is advised not to use the product for more than 4 weeks. Consult a doctor in case of incomplete healing and infection after a short treatment period. Protect the patient’s face when spraying on the upper body. Do not spray near or in the face. Avoid inhaling the powder. In case of accidental ingestion or inhalation, consult a doctor immediately. Avoid direct contact of the container with the wound. As with other products containing silver, avoid exposing treated areas to sunlight.

Warnings
Do not use the product together with proteolytic enzymes or disinfectants containing quaternary ammonium salts. Replace the cap on the container after each application. Do not use in case of damaged packaging. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package. The expiration date refers to the product stored correctly. Contents under pressure and flammable. Do not puncture or burn the container. Keep the product out of reach of children.

Storage
Store at a temperature below 40°C.
Do not use or store near heat sources or open flames. Do not store in direct sunlight. Exposure to temperatures above 50°C may cause the container to burst.

Side effects
Occasionally, the following local adverse reactions may occur: rash at the application site, itching, burning sensation, irritation, dryness, erythema, dermatitis, skin discoloration. These symptoms are generally transient, of moderate severity, and rarely require early discontinuation of treatment.
