Description
Ensure Plus Advance is a high-calorie oral nutritional supplement (1.5 kcal/ml) with an exclusive combination of HMB*, proteins, and vitamin D to effectively prevent muscle mass loss.
It prevents the loss of muscle tone in patients and individuals confined to bed and promotes muscle mass recovery during convalescence.
*HMB (beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate) is a metabolite of the essential amino acid leucine, which specifically supports protein synthesis and helps prevent the degradation of endogenous proteins.
It is particularly suitable:
– in cases of malnutrition;
– in cases of high protein needs;
– to counteract muscle mass loss due to aging;
– for recovery after hospitalization and/or illness;
– in cases of frailty.
