Humana Disanal is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition in the first 6 months of life and is suitable for feeding infants over 6 months within a diversified complementary diet.
The formula of Humana Disanal contributes to the dietary management of recurrent or prolonged diarrhea. Diarrhea events are often accompanied by a temporary reduction in normal lactase activity and consequent lactose malabsorption. The lactose content of Humana Disanal has therefore been reduced so as not to further burden the already altered intestine. In case of diarrhea, the child’s digestive functionality may be temporarily compromised; thus, the lipid content in the Humana Disanal formulation has been reduced to prevent incomplete absorption and facilitate intestinal work. The high fiber content, including that from bananas, and the astringent effect of rice flour facilitate a rapid restoration of proper fecal consistency. Additionally, Humana Disanal, due to its particular formulation, has a pleasant taste that is easily accepted in case of diarrhea.

Usage Instructions
When preparing the infant’s food, strictly follow the usage instructions. Sterilize the bottle, nipple, and ring before each use. Prepare the milk before each meal, using only the measuring scoop contained in the package and administer immediately.
Boil water, let it cool to 70 °C (or heat Humana Amorosa water to 70 °C) and pour it into the bottle. Add the number of level and unpressed scoops of powder according to the feeding table. Close the bottle and shake it to dissolve the powder. Cool under running water to about 37 °C and check the temperature.

The quantities of milk indicated are indicative; the dosage may vary, upon pediatrician’s indication, according to the infant’s needs.
The reconstitution of Humana Disanal is achieved by adding one level and unpressed scoop of powder (about 4.8 g) for every 30 ml of water, preferably minimally mineralized with Humana Amorosa.

Warnings
Improper preparation and usage methods can harm the infant’s health. Do not heat in the microwave, risk of burns. Do not reuse leftover milk. Do not administer parenterally. Humana Disanal contains cow’s milk proteins. Do not use in case of allergy to cow’s milk proteins, lactose intolerance, galactosemia, galactose and glucose malabsorption. To be used under pediatric supervision.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place.
Validity in intact packaging: 18 months.
