Description
Lactoyal free is a sterile isotonic ophthalmic solution containing sodium hyaluronate (FHA 1.0) and lactobionic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide that is part of various tissues in the body. It has the property of adhering to the mucin layer of the ocular surface, protecting, moisturizing, and lubricating it. Due to its mucoadhesive characteristics, it remains on the eye surface for a long time and stabilizes the tear film. Lactobionic acid is a complex polyhydroxy acid made up of gluconic acid and galactose. This molecule has high moisturizing power and antioxidant properties. The Lactoyal free bottle is equipped with the OSD (Ophthalmic Squeeze Dispenser) dropper, which, through its absolute filter and valve system, ensures the maintenance of the product’s sterility without the use of preservatives.
Stabilizing and restoring tear substitute. Useful in cases of alterations of the corneal-conjunctival surface related to qualitative-quantitative deficiencies of the tear film resulting from inflammatory states, imbalance of the redox potential, accumulation of free radicals, mechanical and environmental stress affecting the ocular surface.

Usage instructions
1-2 drops in the conjunctival sac 2-3 times a day or more, as advised by a doctor. The product can also be instilled while wearing contact lenses.
Upon first use, remove the plastic ring sealing the cap by pulling the side tab. Remove the cap. Invert the bottle over the eye and apply increasing pressure on the sides until a drop is released. It may be necessary to apply more force as the solution in the bottle runs out. Close the bottle with the cap.

Components
Main component: sodium lactobionate 4%, Sodium Hyaluronate 0.15% (FHA 1.0).
Other components: Monobasic Sodium Phosphate Dihydrate, Dibasic Sodium Phosphate Dihydrate, Water for Injections.

Warnings
Contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to the components of the product or other closely related substances.
The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
To eliminate the risk of contamination of the solution, avoid contact of the dropper with the eye or other objects.
To avoid injury to the ocular surface, avoid contact of the dropper with the eye during instillation.
As the solution in the bottle decreases, more force may be needed to release a drop.
Close the bottle tightly after use.
In case of concomitant administration of topical ophthalmic medications, consult a doctor.
Do not use the product if the OSD bottle is damaged.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
No adverse effects have been reported after using the product. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult a doctor. After application, mild and transient visual blurring may occur.
Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the bottle label.
Do not dispose of in the environment.

Do not store above 25°C.
